DROUGHT DANGER PASSES

While the strictest economy is necessary the danger of a drought was averted by last week’s heavy- rains. Newcastle reservoirs aie already replenished and Derwent reservoirs supplying leading Micuwna towns are overflowing for the 'first time in 14 months.
