The death is reported from Mastorton of Mr F. H. Beckingsale, at the age of 66 years. Mr Beckingsale wins nmnager for some years in Himvera of the local branch of the N.Z. Clothing Factory. He paid a visit to Hawera about last Christmas and then appeared to be in good health. The death occurred last- night after a short illness of Mr Herbert- Ferraml Harte, aged 79, states a, Timaru Press Association message. Mr Harte came to New Zealand at the age of 14 and had been a resident of the district for 60 years, for the last 30 of which lie had' been a wool-classing instructor in the schools. He was recognised as; an authority on wool and sheep-breeding, which he made a life study. His son, Mr W. Harte. is registrar of the Supreme Court at Timaru.
