Father Julius Moscati, aged 50, a Catholic priest, was shot, and killed and his sister-in-law, Airs Christina Moscati, was shot and seriously injured by an apparently deranged man who said he was a- member of the church. He entered the rectory and fired point blank at the two. To the police lie freely admitted the crime, but refused to state the reason, other than with the cryptic remark: ‘‘lf I had not done it somebody would have shot me.”
