TURUTURU SCHOOL PICNIC
SPORTS BETWEEN SHOWERS. Owing to the rain on Wednesday the Tnruturu school annual picnic Avas held indoors at- the school instead of at King Edward Park. There Avas a large attendance of parents and friends who treated the children liberally during tho day Avith refreshments and sAVeets. BetAveen shoAvers a number of sports events AV-ere held out-of-doors, but for the most part the entertainment Avas confined to suitable indoor | games and competitions. A cake made , and donated by Mrs. J. LippingAA r ell for competition Avas Avon by Jim Ramsay, of Eltham.
