TRAINING IN OBSTETRICS
MODERN HOSPITAL NEEDED. MEDICAL ASSOCIATION VIEW. (By Telegraph —Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Sept. 29. At a meting of the New Zealand branch of the Medical Association on September 13 a resolution was passed affirming the opinion that the provision of a modern maternity hospital at Dunedin was of primary importance, and urging on the Government the importance of proceeding with the completion of the scheme for improving training in obstetrics initiated by the foundation of a chair of obstetrics and' gynaecology with funds raised through the energy and generosity of the women of the Dominion.
