An atmosphere of business instead of diplomacy will surround the war debt discussions next week with representatives of the British Government. The conversations are expected to begin on Friday next after the arrival of Sir Frederick Leith-Ross and bis companions, the British Ambassador ("Sir Ronald Lindsay) and Air. T. O. Bewley, a British Treasury expert. The British have paid well over two billion dollars on account of war debts while all other debtors combined have paid only seven hundred and twenty millions.
