ENDURANCE SWIMMING FEAT
INDIAN MAKES NEW RECORD. (United Press Association—By Electric Tolegrapn Copyright.) CALCUTTA, Sept-. 27. Profolla Ghose, a well known Bengali swimmer, established a swimming endurance record of 72 hours 18 minutes, beating by 15 minutes the Empire endurance record of 72 hours, three minutes claimed by a Maori woman. His trainer said Ghose was good for five more hours. His heart, pulse and breathing were normal. Rain was falling heavily most of the time and the water was cold.
