CENSURE MOTION AWAITED GROUPING OF OPPOSITION. DE VALERA RELIEVED SAFE LABOUR PARTY SUPPORT (United Press Association— By Electric Telegraph Copyright.! DUBLIN, Sept. 28. Facing to-morrow’s censure motion for alleged misuse of the Public Safety Act, and with the Opposition united lor the first time, Mr de Valera is 'Surrounded by an electric atmosphere m the Bail. 'He is-secure from immediate defeat because Labour will oppose the censure motion. Nevertheless the farmers are restive and the Republican Army is hostile. Unprecedented numbers of armed police guarded the precincts to-day. Mr de Valera, lias not announced his policy, but the session should be the most interesting in the Bail's history, since the United Party will do its utmost to divide the Fianna Fail and Labour, some of whose members are apprehensive regarding the Government alliance. Two new tariffs have been added to the already formidable list—on rose trees and grass seed. The most conspicuous figure in the United Ireland Party, Deputy Minch, took his seat wearing a blue shirt. Superintendent O’Ctonnell and Inspector Mooney of the Civic Guards have beer, suspended as a sequel to the Clonmel cattle sale.
