DEATH OF MAORI CHILD
MOTHER CHARGED WITH MURDER ALLEGED CONCEALMENT OF BIRTH. (By Telegraph— Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, June 9. A Maori, Bella Thomson, of Inglewood, single, aged 20, was charged to-day with the murder of her newly born child on May 24 and the con-j cearlment of its birth. She was remanded till Tuesday.
It is understood that an Inglewood doctor was called to attend accused ■ m May 24 and found that the child had been born and the body removed. Subsequently the body was recovered.
