SERIOUS BATHURST BLAZE
ESTIMATED £14,000 DAMAGE. TWO HUNDRED MEN IDLE. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) SYDNEY, Feb. *24. ' A. disastrous tire at Bathurst destroyed the railway workshops containing valuable machinery, and caused damage estimated at £14,000. Two hundred workmen are rendered idle. The origin of the fire is a mystery, but detectives are making inquiries.
