HAWERA CLUB GAME’S. CHAMPIONSHIP SINGLES. The following championship singles games wore decided at the Hawera green last week: Hobbs 21 beat Clarke 18.; Bull 21 beat M. J. Squire 13; Hobbs. 21 beat Canning 7. The position at the start of the fifth round is: Martin, with two lives, plays Hobbs, one life; Bull, one life, plays Hamghton, one life. * The champion lias to be found by Saturday, the 25th insfc. In the Western Division shield competition Warea will most' likely prove the winners, as they now have a comfortable lead. They will play Hawera, the Southern Division winners.
