REMAND ON MURDER CHARGE
CLARK BEFORE AUCKLAND COURT. PAPATOBTOE WIDOW’S DEATH. (By! Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Feb. 1. After having been in hospital Thomas Francis Clark, aged 32, appeared to-day for the first time in the Police Court to face the charge that on January 17 he murdered Bertha May. Bennett at Papatoetoe. No counsel appeared for the accused. He was remanded till February 8.
