CHOICE OF ROOSEVELT
NEW DEMOCRAT CABINET FORECAST OF SELECTIONS WOMAN’S NAME MENTIONED. .United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright.; WARM SPRINGS, Jan. 20. The organisation of the new Democratic Government took shape rapidly here on Monday as the President-elect, Mr. F. I). Roosevelt, conferred with his closest political advisers. The following appear certain to be members of the Cabinet:
Senator Carter Glass (Virginia), Secretary of the Treasury. Senator T. J. Walsh (Montana), Attorney-General. Mr. James Farley (New York), Post-master-General.
Miss Frances Perkins (New York) Secretary of Labour.
There is reason to believe that pressure is being brought to bear on Mr: Owen D. Young, New York financier and economist, to become Secretary o. State.
