IT! NEIRARY AMENDED WEEK’S REST FOR PILOT (By Telegrnpn —Press Association.l AUCKLAND. Jan. 31. An alteration in the itinerary of Sir Charles Kings ford Smith’s New Zealand tour to enable him. to take a week’s rest is announced. In the course of the South Island visit, the Southern Cross will arrive at Christchurch on February 11 and will be there until the following Monday, when it was planned to visit Timaru. At this .stage, however, Sir Charles will defer all his visits for it week, arriving at Timaru on February 20, instead of February 13. Sir Charles will take a week’s holiday and will leave the Southern Cross at Christchurch to be thoroughly overhauled and prepared for the return trip. All the towns in the original itinerary will be visited. Sir Charles plans to commence the return flight from Ninety Mile Beach to Australia between March 8 and 11.
