A Maori named Charles Hunter was charged in the Taihape Police Court to-day with being a “Peeping Tom.’' The complainant, George Ward, had his suspicions aroused bv noises and footmarks in the garden, and hid himself at night behind a. bush. Accused crept in, but saw Ward and ran .-.wav Ward chased and caught him. Hunter, who has a good record, is to appear for sentence' when jaded o>> within 12 months.
