CARRIED ON BULL’S HORNS
* SETTLER SUFFERS INJURIES. WIFE GOES TO RESCUE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) GISBORNE, .Jan. 31. Mr J. Turner, a settler at Makuri, was attacked by a. Jersey 'bull- and carried some distance on its horns-. He was thrown against a fence and sustained' ripped arms, badly bruised legs and an injury to his spine. Hi's wife pluckily beat off the bull and rescued him from further injury.
