SYDNEY, Jan. 31. Torrential rains said to be the worst for 30 years fell bn Sunday night in the Kyogle and Inveriil districts and caused many ’ wash-outs and road dislocations. . . Thunderstorms continued throughout yesterday. A cloudburst at Inverill flooded the lower parts of the town Heavy rains in central and west Queensland and scattered falls in the southern districts brought joy to, farmers, who are thus assured of good feed for stock during the winter. •On the Darling Downs rain caused damage to the Edphinstone bridge, temporarily interrupting railway traffic.
