CITY TRAM FATALITY
MESSENGER KNOCKED DOWN. DEATH THREE HOURS LATER. (By Telegraph— Press Association). WELLINGTON, Jan. 31. Knocked down by tramcar in Kent Terrace last evening, a Government messenger named Dalton, aged about 60, died in the Wellington Hospital three hours later. Dalton was attached to the staff of Sir James Parr. He was a single man and lived at 37 Pirie Street.
