FATAL PLUNGE OF CAR
INFANT GIRL KILLED. OTHER OCCUPANTS INJURED. (By Telegraph Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Jan. 30. As the result of a car plunging over a 30 foot bank on the Stonyhurst Road in North Canterbury, Shirley Jean Waller, aged three and a half years was fatally injured. Mr. E. C. Waller and bis wife and four children were en route to Happy Valley to spend the week-end when the accident occurred." Mr. Waller suffered a fractured shoulder and Mrs. Waller and the other three children suffered cuts and bruises.
