TURUTURU TENNIS CLUB
PIONIC AT KAWAROA. MEMBERS AND FRIENDS PARTICIPATE. Thirty-five members of the Turuturu Tennis Club in Hawera and many friends' journeyed to New Plymouth by the morning excursion train yesterday for a picnic at Kawaroj Park, a most enjoyable day being spent amidst ideal surroundings. Luncheon and afternoon tea arrangements were supervised by Mesdames J. G. Lippingwe.ll, W. Pine, T. J. Allan and "Nf. Walsdorf. During the afternoon the party walked to Ngamotu beach for surf bathing and latfler proceeded to the breakwater to inspect the Port Wellington, returning to the park in time for tea.
