A giant six-engined R.A.F. flying boat, built at a cost of £146,000, to demonstrate the practicability of flights to Australia on a regular service has,, it is understood, been sent on a long' “show the flag” cruise to the Far East and probably also Australia with four pilots and 1.2 other occupants.
