CHURCH ANNOUNCEMENTS
The services at the Hawera' Methodist Church will he conducted to-mor-row by the Rev. E. S. Elm mitt at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Anthems will lie sung bv the choir. Mr Einmitt will be at. Normanbv at 2 p.m. Hawera parents and scholars are reminded that the Sunday school reopens to-morrow at 9.45 a.m. A hearty welcome awaits all. On Thursday at 7.30 p.m. a general meeting of members (and all l others interested) will be held in the Bible Class room to further arrangements for a garden party on February 8.
“Light upon the problem ,of an upside down world’’ will be the morning theme at the Hawera Baptist Church to-morrow. The evening subject will, be “What is meant by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ?” The preacher will be the Rev. John lugs. Visitors and strangers will ,he made welcome. The Sunday school will reopen on February 5.
