Results are:— Combined doubles: Semi-finals: Miss Haggitt and D. I. Robertson beat Miss A. Pragnell and G. A. Pearce, 4—6, 7 —5, 6 —o; Miss Howell and R. A. Court beat Miss Gould and T. RhodesWilliams, 3 —G, 6 —l, 6 —2. Final: Miss Howell and R. A. Court ('Hawke’s Bay) beat Miss 'Haggitt and D. I. Robertson (Manawatu), 6 —2, 6 —3. Handicap finals resulted: Men’s singles, A. Hobson ladies’ singles, Miss Sturroek (Wellington); men’s doubles, P. Hawkesworth and G. A. Pearce (Otago); combined doubles, Miss A. Pragnell and G, A. Pearce.
