HEAVY ADDINGTON ENTRY. FAT LAMBS ADVANCE. CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 16. The sale at- Addington market today was the first since the “double” event of a fortnight ago and in consequence entries were heavy. Features were e a.si nigs for beef and mutton, and a -slight advance for fat lambs. Store sheep.—A small entry.. Wether hoggets were cheaper and ewe hoggets also showed a tendency to ease-. The sale generally was dull. Values were: Good ewe hoggets, 13s 8d to 15s sd: medium wether, 7s 7d to 8s 9d ; shorn half bred, 6s 6d to 9s 6d; ewes and lambs, to 4s Id. Fat lambs. —An entrv of 1600 head. The average price per lb was 3)d tc 4)d and in odd instances 4Jd. Tor price was 16s 7d. Fat sheep.—An entry of, 5600 head. Consequent upon the the market eased up to Is a head for ewes and Is to Is 6d a head for wethers. Values were: Extra prime heavy wethers, 14s lOd; prime heavy, 12s 6d to 14s; prime medium weight. 10s 6d to 12s • ordinary quality, 9s to 10s ; light. 7s- to 8s 9d; extra prime heavy ewes. 14s 6d; prime heavy, 10 s to 11s fidprime medium weight, 8s to 9s 6d: ordinary, 6s 3d to 7s 9d; light, 5s to 6s.

Fat cattle.—An entry of 490 head constituted an over-supply. It was a dull sale with all classes easier by 10? to £1 a head. Best beef made up to 22s Gd per lOOlb, good prime beef from 18s to 21s. heavy 11s 6d to 17? 6d, secondary 12s to 15s. and rough and inferior to 11s. Values wore: Extra prime heavy steers, to £ll 12? fid • prime heavy, £6 15s to £9 ; prime medium weight. £5 15s to £7 ; ordinary quality. £3 10s to £5 ss; light. £2 to- £3'ss; extra prime heifers. £f 7-s 6d ; prime, £4 10s to £6 ss; medium £3 5s to £4 ss; light. £1 17s to £3' extra, prime cow's. £7 7s- -prime £? 15s to £5 3 ss: medium. £2 30s to £3 5s- light, to £2 ss.
