MASQUERADE AS WOMAN
MAN ARRESTED AT AUCKLAND
MENTAL TEST ORDERED

Masquerading as a woman, a young man was arrested near the Grafton Bridge at 2.30 this morning. He appeared in the Police Court on a charge deeming him to be ail idle and disorderly person. Detectivo-Se rgeai it Doyle sajd the accused bolted when he saw a- constable, who caught him and found that lie was completely dressed as a woman. The clothing ho wore was alleged to have been taken from He premises of the accused’s next dooi neighbour. . There was some doubt as to his mental condition and the accused was remanded in custody until November 24, the magistrate directing that he should b e medically examined in the meantime.
