FIRST OF “K” TYPE
LOWER HUTT WORKSHOPS
(By Telegraph—Press Association.? WELLINGTON, Nov. 17. The first of 30 “K” locomotives hejng built at the Lower Plntt workshops for heavy duty passenger train work in the North Island was run into Wellington this morning and inspected' by members of the Railways Board The “K” locomotive is almost wholly a New Zealand job, for only very few special parts have been imported.
