President von Hindenburg lias accepted the resignation of the Chancellor, Dr. von Papen, to enable a conference of party leaders with a view to the formation of a- Government or national concentration. If tlio ofroi ts fail, the President is expected to ask Dr. von Papen to resume office m the face of a hostile vote in the Reiclista<r a contingency which is arousing misgiving among politicians as leading to a violation of the Constitution, lne onlv possible Government with a majority would be a coalition between the Nazi’s and the Centre Party.
