AIETHODIST CONCERT. (From Our Own Correspondent.) On Friday evening the Methodist Sunday School children gave a conceit in the Ohangai Hall. %if ove i\„ r gieat success, and Miss Hill and he helpers deserve the greatest of ciedit for the way they trained the children. The concert opened with an nistiu mental trio by Master Louis and Misses Margaret and Olga box the followed the Sunday School children 11 “Queen of the May’s Garden ; song, Aliss AV. Mills; maypole dance, Sunday School children; recitation, Master Norton Knightbridge; pole dance, Sunday School Middien dance duo, two wee fames; vio n solo, Master L, Fox; cello solo, Miss Olma Fox; cobweb dance Sunday School children; recitation, Miss Joyce Knightbridge; song, Mr H. Tov nsley, oil windnull dance, Sunday School children; song Miss W. Mills; recitation. Master N. Knightbridge jmstramental trio, Alaster Louis and Aliases M. and O. Fox; song, Mr Townsley; violin solo Alaster L. 1 ox, recitation, Aliss J. Knightbridge. = In the, “Crowning of the Ma\ Queen” the characters were as follow : Queen, Miss Mavis Patchell; maids of honour, Misses A. Lander, S. Duft, D. Meuli and J. He also explained that the money taken tor the concert went towards the Ohangai l Sunday School and also that the Maori. Choir would be giving a concert .in the Oharnmi Hall on Saturday evening to help the New Zealand Methodist Mission Arr Emmitt asked the children to give Aliss Hill three hearty cheers. The evening closed with ‘‘God. Save the King.” PERSONAL. Miss Eva Elmer,, who underwent an ■operation for nnnenclicitis in hospital, is expected to return homo this week. Lena, third daughter of Air and Mrs ,T. Trilford, has returned home after some weeks in a private hospital with inflammation of the ilog.
