PILOT DICKSON KILLED TWO PASSENGERS INJURED TRAGEDY AT VICTORIA EARLS. ’PLANE SOMERSAULTS IN SAND. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) Received 11 a.m. to-day. CAPE TOWN, . Nov. 17. The American ’plane “Spirit of Fun’’ crashed at Victoria Falls and the pilot Captain Dickson, was killed and two passengers, Loew and Rosthal were, slightly injured. The.'’plane flew from Hongkong to Johannesburg in seven days, arriving on Friday last and started to-day on a dash to London. The pilot had trouble in taking off in sand and the ’plane struck a tree and made several somersaults. Captain Dickson’s .throat was cut.'
