HAWERA BRANCH MEETING
SUBSCRIPTIONS ACKNOWLEDGEE
The monthly meeting of the Hawera Plunket Society was held in the Albion Street rooms on Friday last week when there were present. /dames Henderson (in the chair), Campbell, Carter, Bardsley, Tait, Corrigan, Haseltine. Cressey, Trim and Beck. Apologies for absence , were received from Mesdames F.yson, I .-cam an, Fvfo. Veale, Humphreys, Pickett, Rae and Stead.
The nurse (Miss J. McColl) re.oortcd that during the month 2-38 adults 221 babies and 8b older children visitid the rooms and there were- 48 teleuhone calls. Visits to homes totalled 157 and there were seven new oases for the month.
Car donations amounting to 17s fid were acknowledged, also- the following subscriptions: Mrs. Harris (Okniawa\ ss, Mrs. F. E. Clarke 10s. Mrs. H. Vernon (Alokoia) os, “A Friend” ss, T. Ellis ss, “A Friend” os, A. K, North 10s.
