BODY FOUND IN STREAM

DEATH OF AGED MAN.

MISSING FOR. SIN WEEKS,

round lying in a stream at Taw a Plat on Tuesday about half a mile from the roadway, the body of an old man has been identified as that of Nicholas iGillson March, aged 84, Jessie 'Street, Wellington, who went by train from Wellington on September 29 to visit his daughter at Auckland and did not reach his destination. The body was found by a farmer. March was known to have gone as far as Te Awamutu. There for some unexplainable reason ho told railway officials that he was going to Wellington, not Auckland, and a guard saw him safely on the express to Wellington. relatives w-ere waiting at Thorndon, but ho did not arrive. No word was heard from him and the police were informed. March was a wfidower and it is understood he lias some relatives in New Zealand.
