WOMAN PEDESTRIAN’S DEATH.

EVIDENCE' AT THE INQUEST

(By Telegraph—Press Association). AUCKLAND, Nov. 16. The adjourned inquest concerning the death of Miss Elizabeth Bott, aged 61, who received fatal injuries on Great South Road on October 22, was concluded to-day before Mr F. K. Hunt, S.M., coroner. Miss Bott was struck by two motor ears in quick succession and died before medical aid could be obtained. The first car did not stop and has not been identified. The coroner returned a verdict that the cause of death was shock following the multiple injuries she received when she was accidentally knocked down and run over by a motor car driven by John Fred Newsome. , , “The evidence shows, added J>lr Hunt, ‘ ‘ that Aliss Bott just previously had been struck by another car which has not been identified and which was travelling at ail excessive speed.
