FROZEN IN RESCUE OUEST EIGHT CORPSES IN BOAT FEARS FOR. FATE OF OTHERS. (Unit-c-d Press association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) Received 11.-10 a.m. to-day. MOSCOW, Nov. 16. The ice-breaker No. 9 left Archangel on October 24 to succour a distressed sister ship. Nothing was heard of either vessel until the discovery oi a lifeboat from the No. 9 containing eight frozen corpses. It is feared that the ,14 others of the crow met with the same fate.
