The number of murders in. Britain last year was 109. which is slightly below the per-war figure. Only 10 are among the unsolved crimes. Burglaries and similar crimes arc on the increase in London. Last year there were 2300 more of these crimes than in 1930, and 3400 more than in, 1929.
