Poison, M.P., Dominion president of the Farmers’ Union, in an address here maintained an immediate remedy to aid the farmer was by way of exchange. All of New' Zealand’s competitors were benefiting by high exchange, which had met' increased costs- wherever applied and was a practical way of helping the primary producer and providing him with money to carry on. No other plan worth considering had presented itself.
