PRIME MINISTER RESIGNS
ECHO' OF KREUGER, CRASH
(By TelegrraDli—Press Association 0 STOCKHOLM. Aug. 7. A sensation was caused by the- sudden resignation of the Prime Munster of Sweden, Mr. O. K. Ekma-n, who lias been succeeded by t'be Minister of Finance, Mr. F. Hlamirin. It is officially stated that the resignation was due to Mr. Elkman’is accertance of dO,OOO kroner (a little over £.1030> from the late Ivar Kreuger, the “Match King,” as a contribution to the funds of the People’s Party, of which lie is the leader. The sum lias been returned to the administrators ofIvreuger’s estate.
