As an outcome of the international oil conference, which agreed on a scheme for improving the markets, it is reported that a 25 per cent, increase in oil priceis is likely from October 1, hut this is dependent upon Rumania’s ■ratification of the conference agreement.
In all group® excepting the Russian the conference decided to work in unision and abstain from fighting by pricecutting. Russia was not invited to the conference.
