Mr. J. L. Brails ford, tutor-lecturer of the W.E.A., concluded his series of addresses at Hawera last evening, his subject on the occasion being “Whither Mankind.” At the conclusion Mr. Brailsford expressed liis appreciation; of the interest- that had been taken in the movement, at Hawera and of its progress. Mr. A. H. Larkman, on behalf of the gathering, thanked the lecturer for the personal interest he had shown in the Hawera meetings, and for the diversity of subjects in his lectures, all of which had been fully appreciated.
