MURDERER 18 YEARS OLD
DEATH SENTENCE PASSED. RECOMMENDATION TOf MERCY. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) SYDNEY, June 2. Maurice O’Hara, aged 18, labourer, to-day was convicted of murdering Albert Chaffey. O’Hara, who was employed by Chaffey, expressed sorrow at his crime, which was the outcome of a dispute over money matters. O’Hara was recommended to mercy oil account of his youth. He was sentenced to death.
