Mention was made on Tuesday at' Auckland that there was one in every six unemployed builders, in Auckland registered at the Auckland Central Unemployed Labour Bureau, reports the •‘Auckland Star.” Approximate figures ot the unemployed registered in other trades and occupations are: Engineering trades, 1 in 15; other skilled trades, 1 in 6; drivers, 1 in 14; storemen and packers, 1 in 48; labourers and quarrymen, 1 in 3; farmhands. 1 in 42; shop assistants, salesmen and clerks, 1 in 16: hotel and restaurant employees, 1 in 31; unqualified, 1 in 13.
