NEW ’PLANE PURCHASED

MANAWATU AERO CLUB. REVIVAL OF TRAINING. PALMERSTON N.. May 25. The Manawatu Aero Club, which recently severed its connection with the Western Federated Aero Clubs, has purchased a second aeroplane for training purposes, a coupe model Gipsy Moth. The new aeroplane was one of the aeroplanes used by the Gisborne Air Transport Company on the air service between Gisborne and Hastings. Recently the club acquired its first aeroplane, an Avro Avian, up until which time the club had the sendees of one of the "Western Federated Aero Club’s aeroplanes. Of recent weeks the club has experienced a revival of training work as several new trainees have been enrollA ed .
