FORBIDDEN to see horse run. LONDON, May 15. Because excitement might produce a fatal relapse, Mr. Washington Singer, of Salisbury, has been forbidden to watch the Derby this-year, for which his Goldenhair colt Orwell, the winner of seven successive races, is strongly fancied. Mr. Singer’s ambition throughout his life has been to win the Derby, but he has been ill for a year, and has never seen Orwell win. His servants and chauffeurs are all attired in his racing colours of myrtle green, and his motor-cars have been painted similar colours. Mr. Singer is aged 66 years.
