Hubert Oppernian to-day broke the world’s cycling 24 hours record of 634.) miles, covering the distance in 16 hours 42 minutes 55 seconds. He also collected the world’s twelve hours outdoor and indoor and the 18 hours outdoor records. THOUSAND MILES COMPLETED. LESS THAN 29 HOURS. Received 11 a.m. to-dav. MELBOURNE. May 25. Oppernian completed a ride of 1000 miles in 28 hours 55 minutes 39 seconds, thus establishing a world’s mo-tor-paced record for the distance.
