In an article written in reply to this amazing statement, Trevor Wignall, one of the best known of English sporting critics, says that t lions and s of Soccer players could not be; chloroformed into watching a Rugby match, but there is. scarcely a Rugger enthusiast of his acquaintance who does not occasionally go to a Soccer match. “There will be whiskers- on the mo-on before Rugger abolishes Soccer,” lie says.
