Xo. 3 remarked that ire bailed from New Zealand and that the N.Z. challenged comparison with any leaf grown. Tastes differ of course. But leading experts agree with the New Zealander. The outstanding merit of Now Zealand tobacco is largely owing to the fact that it is toasted —just as coffee and cocoa beans are. Tlence its unicpie flavour and fragrance. Yes: And toasting does more; it absorbs the poisonous nicotine, thus rendering tlie tobacco absolutely harmless. 'There is no other toasted “weed.” The four brands manufactured are: rßivcrhead Gold. Xavy.Cut Xo. 3, Cavendish and Cut Plug No. 10. Every tobacconist sells these goods, but buyers are cautioned that the popularity of N.Z. tobacco has caused imitations to get on the market, —233
