COMPETITION FOR. DESIGN

The Berlin correspondent of "The Times” states that the National War Memorial Committee has opened a competition for all “artistically active German citizens” for the most .suitable design for the memorial which it is proposed to erect in a beautiful piece of secluded woodland near Weimar. The designs must be kept within the' simplicity demanded by the needs of the times and dignity of the subject.
