BRITISH LAND TAXATION
CLAUSES OF FINANCE BILL. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) LONDON, April 30.. Mr P. Snowden moved to permit the Finance Bill to embrace the taxation of land values, though this will not operate till the subsequent year. This was carried without a- division. Mr Snowdon gave notice of motion imposing in .1933-4 a tax of one penny on every unit of land in Britain.
