EMPIRE DAY AND FLAG LATEST PROTEST BY LABOUR WORKING CLASS BIAS WANTED (United Press Aesoeiation—By Electric Telegntpu Oopyright.j Received 11 a.m. to-day. ■SYDNEY, April 7. Protests against the continued observance of Empire Day, and the flag saluting ceremony in schools are contained in the report of the advisory education committee of the Australian Labour Party, submitted to the Easter Conference. The Minister cf Education was instructed to revise the school syllabus eliminating the “imperial bias” and providing for an instruction that will give “an adequate conception of the struggles of the working class in history.”
