BOXING POSTPONED
ILLNESS OF BLAY. Owing to sudden illness, Bobby Blav has notified the Taranaki Boxing Association of his inability to meet Tommy Donovan at Western Park next Saturday. A postponement of the match for one week has, therefore, been necessary. It is anticipated that Play will then be quite fit to take the ring.
The association endeavoured to make other arrangements, so that a bout could be staged on Saturday. They approached Archie Hughes, who met Blay at Auckland, but he was not available', and (he Americans recently imported were also with, but were also unavailable.
