The Prime Minister announced that the ■Government-General in Council bus, on his recommendation, appointed iM r \V. M. Barr 1o be assistant-Publio Trustee, vice Mr 11. Turner, who was recently appointed Under-'Sccrctary for Defence.
Mr Barr formerly occupied the position of chief accountant of the Public Trust Office and in this capacity gained a wide knowledge in the general management of the office.
